Digital piano faults we repair
- Sticky, slow or stuck keys. Debris, broken key tails, worn felts or dried lubricant in the key action.
- Keys that play too loud, too soft or not at all. Key contact strips and sensor boards.

We’re listed by Yamaha as a service centre for keyboards and digital instruments. That covers warranty repairs, genuine key and action parts, and model-specific service information for Clavinova CLP and CVP, Arius YDP, and P-series pianos.

Console piano too heavy to move?
Console digital pianos like the Clavinova are heavy and awkward. Many faults can be repaired by removing the key action or a single board, so you may only need to bring in part of the instrument. Call us first and we’ll tell you what to bring — or ask about our in-home service.

Bring it in
Drop it at our Minchinbury workshop. For big TVs and heavy units, ask about in-home service.
Diagnose and quote
We find the fault on the bench and quote the repair. A minimum diagnostic fee applies and comes off your invoice if you go ahead.
Repair and collect
We repair it, test it under load and let you know it’s ready to collect.

Is it worth repairing a digital piano?
Usually. A Clavinova or console piano costs thousands to replace, and most faults are mechanical or a single board.
Can I fix sticky keys myself?
You can safely check for debris with a torch and compressed air with the piano unplugged. Don’t spray anything into the keys. If that doesn’t fix it, the key action needs to come apart. See our guide.

Yes. We’re a listed Yamaha service centre. Bring your proof of purchase.
