How repair pricing works
No surprises. You know what’s wrong and what it will cost before we start any repair work.
How pricing works
- Diagnosis. We find the fault on the bench. A minimum diagnostic fee applies, which covers the bench time and testing.
- Quote. We call you with the fault, the parts needed and a fixed price for the repair.
- Your decision. If you go ahead, the diagnostic fee comes off your final invoice. If you don’t, you only pay the diagnostic fee and collect the unit.
- Warranty jobs. For brands we’re authorised for, warranty repairs cost you nothing when you bring proof of purchase and the fault is covered.
How long it takes
It depends on the fault and on parts. Once we’ve diagnosed it, we give you a time frame with your quote, and we keep you updated if a part is on order.
Repair warranty
We stand behind our repairs. The warranty terms for the work and the parts we fit are shown on your quote and invoice.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are in addition to our warranty.

Why charge for a diagnosis?
Finding a fault properly takes bench time and test equipment. The fee pays for that time, and it means we can give you an accurate, fixed quote rather than a guess.
Is it worth repairing my TV?
Often, yes — backlight and power board faults are usually far cheaper than a new set. Cracked screens and failed panels usually aren’t worth it. Our repair or replace guide has the rules of thumb.
Do you use genuine parts?
We use genuine manufacturer parts wherever they’re available. If only a compatible part is available, we’ll tell you before we fit it.
