- Lamp or temperature light flashing. Or the projector shuts down after a few minutes.
- Won’t turn on. Power supply, ballast and mainboard faults.
- Dull, yellow, purple or blotchy picture. Dust in the optics, failing LCD panels or a worn lamp.
- Colour flicker or rainbow effects on DLP models (colour wheel faults).
- Loud fan or overheating. Blocked filters, failed fans or thermal sensors.
- No input signal. HDMI and input board faults.

Lamp replacement
We fit genuine replacement lamps and reset the lamp timer. If the lamp keeps failing early, we check the ballast and cooling so the new lamp lasts.

Bring it in
Drop it at our Minchinbury workshop. For big TVs and heavy units, ask about in-home service.
Diagnose and quote
We find the fault on the bench and quote the repair. A minimum diagnostic fee applies and comes off your invoice if you go ahead.
Repair and collect
We repair it, test it under load and let you know it’s ready to collect.

My projector lamp light is flashing. Do I just need a new lamp?
Sometimes. A flashing lamp light can mean the lamp has reached end of life, but it can also be a ballast, lamp door sensor or cooling fault. We test it before selling you a lamp.
Is it worth repairing an older projector?
For home cinema projectors, usually yes. For older business projectors with a failed light engine or LCD panel, it can cost more than a new unit — we’ll quote both.
Can you repair laser projectors?
Yes. We repair power, mainboard, cooling and input faults on laser projectors. Laser module replacement depends on parts from the manufacturer.
