Common Samsung TV faults
- Sound but no picture. Backlight LED strips are the most common Samsung failure. We replace the full set of strips.
- Won’t turn on, red standby light on or blinking. Power board or mainboard.
- Turns on and off by itself or clicks repeatedly. Power supply or backlight protection.
- One Connect box faults on Frame and QLED models: no signal or no power to the panel.
- Picture has dark patches or flickers. Backlight or LED driver.
Samsung models
We repair Samsung Crystal UHD, QLED, Neo QLED, The Frame and older LED and plasma models. Tell us the model number from the label on the back (it starts with UA or QA).

Under warranty?
We’re not an authorised Samsung service agent, so warranty repairs go through Samsung. While your TV is under warranty, contact Samsung Australia and they’ll arrange the repair through their service network. Once the warranty has ended, bring it to us. We repair all Samsung TV models out of warranty.

Drop it at our Minchinbury workshop. For big TVs and heavy units, ask about in-home service.
Diagnose and quote
We find the fault on the bench and quote the repair. A minimum diagnostic fee applies and comes off your invoice if you go ahead.
Repair and collect
We repair it, test it under load and let you know it’s ready to collect.

Are you a Samsung authorised service agent?
No. For repairs under Samsung’s warranty, contact Samsung Australia. Out of warranty, we repair Samsung TVs at our Minchinbury workshop and quote before we start.
Is a Samsung backlight repair worth it?
Usually. Replacing the backlight strips costs a fraction of a new TV, and the rest of the TV is typically fine.
How do I check whether it’s the backlight?
Shine a torch close to the screen with the TV on. If you can faintly see the picture, the backlight has failed.
Can you fix a Samsung with a cracked screen?
Not economically — a replacement panel costs more than a new TV.
